20 WEEK BUMPDATE

Well she has been a busy 3 weeks since I last updated! We went for our 19 week genetic ultra sound and the tech told us we were having a girl. So we had one tech say boy and the other say girl, so we walked out of the appointment fairly puzzled to say the least. I was pretty content with not finding out for sure until we gave birth, but my husband was really wanting to know. After explaining the situation to the tech who gave us our 3D ultrasound she told me to come back in again at no charge so we finally got real confirmation that baby is indeed a BOY!

I couldn't help but laugh at the whole situation, something so confusing would happen to us! I know Kyle feels much more at ease knowing for sure what we are having, it really helps him bond to the baby being able to say his name when he rubs my belly. Jackson seems much more mellow than Everly did, it is hard to remember and I tried looking back at my bumpdates I did with Everly, but I don't feel him move as much. Kyle hasn't been able to feel him yet either, he is also much lower than Everly was. I'm sure in the next few weeks things should pick up in terms of movement, I know some people haven't been able to really feel movement until at least 21/22 weeks.

I can't believe I am already halfway there! I know I have said it a few times but this pregnancy has felt so different and I'm sure there are many reasons for that, chasing a toddler around the house is the main difference I'm sure. Everly keeps me busy but it's been a great experience being able to focus on my health and be able to stay home and rest when I need it. I'm not sure if I have mentioned it yet but as of now my haemorrhage has resolved itself, but I have still been advised to take it easy.

I have also gotten into nesting, it has come out in full force! We rearranged the whole floor of the house on the weekend (and by we, I mean Kyle ha). I also started purging a bunch of junk we seem to always accumulate. It feels good to start getting rid of things and getting ready for another body to be coming into the house in just 3 short months.

How far along? 20 weeks

Total weight gain? I haven't weighed myself in a few weeks, I should do that tomorrow and I will update it!

Maternity clothes? Yep!

Stretch marks? Yeah, but mostly left over from my pregnancy with Everly.

Sleep? Feels like it has been non existent, Everly is going through some type of sleep regression which I will talk about when I do her 2 year old update! We are starting sleep training tonight so I'm sure sleep will get worse before it gets better.

Best moment this week? Watching my cousin get married!

Miss anything? Sleep lol

Movement? I feel little tiny kicks here and there, can't wait for them to become more prominent.

Food cravings? I have been craving the chicken and cheese tortellini again from Theo's lol.

Anything making you feel sick or queasy? Nothing anymore so far!

Showing? Yes, my stomach is actually firm now.

Gender? It's a BOY!

Labor signs? None.

Symptoms? He sits a lot lower than Everly did at this stage so sometimes when I wake up in the morning I feel a bit of pressure, nothing uncomfortable.

Belly button in or out? In.

Happy or moody most of the time? Moody AF haha, but I feel like the lack of sleep has done that.

Looking forward to: My sister's baby shower!
