HOW I RECHARGE


I absolutely love my life and my day to day routine, but at the end of the day I'm still human and I have tendency to burn out. I find when I crash, I crash really hard and I try to recognize the signs before that happens and begin recharging my battery so to speak. Sometimes I wonder how I keep all the balls in the air, but multitasking has become a specialty of mine and in order to keep everything flowing the way I like here are some of the things I love to do to recharge that battery.

01: Taking 5
This is probably one of the hardest things for me to do; actually stopping and sitting down. Most days I feel like the energizer bunny but I like to be constantly moving and doing something. It is hard for me sometimes to just sit. Sometimes what I have been doing is coming right home after work, making a tea and just relaxing before I go and get Everly. This 45 minutes alone and no distractions really helps me decompress after the day. I'm able to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and gather myself before I go and get Everly and get the night going. 

02: Reading/Crafting
I have been trying to make more of an effort to read. I used to love to get lost in a good book, but it has been a long time since I have found a genre that I like. Recently I have discovered the amazing world of podcasts, I haven'y narrowed down my favourites yet but once I do I will definitely share! Crafting is and always will be my go to when it comes to having an outlet, I always like trying different things but lately my go to has been cross stitch, embroidery, and crochet.

03: Writing
This blog is something I love doing for fun, I love sharing different things and being able to write my thoughts and feelings whether people read it or not. Even though there are times where it is a little neglected, I love knowing that it is here and I can come place all the thoughts I have in one space.
